AI Consulting for Small Business

From “we should use AI” to a system that actually runs your busywork.

The Coast Global helps small businesses put AI to work: we audit your operations, identify where AI genuinely saves hours or wins customers, and then design, build, and deploy the solution — chatbots that answer like your best employee, automations that clear repetitive work, and custom tools built around your workflow. No jargon, no science projects; a working system with a measurable payoff.

Our process.

01

Audit

We sit with your actual workflows — sales, support, admin, content — and find the places where AI saves real hours or real money. You get a prioritised roadmap with honest ROI estimates, including the ideas we recommend against.

02

Design

For the winning use case we design the system around how your team already works: what it connects to, what it automates, where a human stays in the loop, and what success measurably looks like.

03

Build

We build and test the solution — chatbot, automation, or custom tool — against real scenarios from your business before it ever touches a customer.

04

Deploy

Launch, team training, and a tuning period where we watch real usage and sharpen the system. You own what we build; an optional retainer keeps it improving.

Who this is for.

Owner-Operated Businesses

You are the bottleneck. AI takes the repetitive half of your week — intake, follow-up, scheduling — off your plate.

Customer-Facing Teams

A chatbot trained on your business answers instantly, around the clock, and hands the hard cases to a human.

Growing Teams Drowning in Ops

Quotes, reports, data entry, status updates — the work that grows with headcount is the work AI does best.

AI-Curious, Burned Before

You tried a tool that went nowhere. An audit-first approach finds the use case with payback before anything gets built.

Common questions.

What does AI consulting cost for a small business?

AI engagements at The Coast Global are custom-quoted by scope. As a general range: an AI opportunity audit is a fixed low-four-figure engagement, a deployed chatbot or single automation typically runs $2,500–$10,000, and larger custom tools are quoted from the roadmap. Every build starts from the audit, so you invest in the full solution only after seeing where the return is. Ongoing support is an optional monthly retainer, not a requirement — you own everything we build.

What can AI actually do for a small business?

The highest-return uses we deploy are unglamorous and powerful: a chatbot that answers customer questions instantly from your real business information; intake and follow-up automation that responds to every lead within a minute; document and report generation that turns hours of admin into a click; and internal assistants that let your team search company knowledge in plain English. The pattern is consistent — AI is best at high-volume, repetitive, language-heavy work. The audit finds which of those is worth the most in your business.

Do we need technical staff to use what you build?

No. We design for teams with zero technical staff: the systems run inside tools you already use, your team gets hands-on training and plain-English documentation, and nothing requires a developer to operate day to day. If something needs adjusting later, the optional support retainer covers it — or we hand over clean documentation so any future hire can pick it up.
